Sound in The Phantom
Menace
The sound of the engines at the start of the race begin
extremely loud and impacting getting the viewers hyped and immediately involved
with the race. The engines overwhelm the commentators and cheering crowd at the
beginning giving a sense of seriousness and intensity. The engines are fast
paced sounding and add to the pace of the race and increases in volume and
intensity as the pod speed round the
corner giving a realistic perspective of the race and making the audience feel
as if they are there.
